Julie Newmar cover. As famous as Julie was from her theater, TV and movie work she wasn't on that many magazine covers and this is one of her best.
Inside cover has large photo of June Wilkinson in a towel.
"Broadway Bombshell Stupefies Hollywood" 13 nice photos of Julie Newmar. No she isn't naked, Julie was to big a star to have to do that.
"de Dienes Meets The Bust" 1 photo of Marilyn Monroe on the beach with an umbrella Andre de Dienes had taken earlier + 7 photos of the latest blonde bombshell June Wilkinson. June dosen't show any actual nudity here which is strange, she had already done lots of it for other magazines including this one.
"Unsolved Murder Of A Heel" This would make a good movie-of-the-week. 2 pages of photos of Serge Rubinstein while he was still alive + 5 photos of babes he was romanticly linked to. Serge was a convicted draft dodger, playboy and stock market manipulator which made him "the most hated, feared man in New York" who a lot of people wanted to see dead. Tough luck. Now-days scoundrels like this get fawned over by Larry King or some other CNN idiot, write their memoirs and at worst do a few months in a comfortable Club Fed prison.
2 page color centerfold of Madeline Castle who had been a Playboy Playmate in October 1954 and seems to be aging rather well.
"Profile Of A Character Orson Welles" large photo of Rita Hayworth by herself + 1 photo of Orson with Rita and Errol Flynn on his yacht + 3 photos and 1 illustration from movie roles + 3 photos when he was still skinny + 2 photos of him after he turned to fat + another photo of him fat in a wheelchair posing with Marilyn Monroe + 2 photos from Compulsion. Fat or skinny, he usually directed good movies and in later years turned out to be a pretty good wine salesman.
Inside back cover has 2 photos of Jayne Mansfield.
